Joyce Reynolds (1918–2022)

Let me share this image of Joyce Reynold's visit to the British School at Rome in 2004 to remember a living monument of Latin Epigraphy, a great scholar and a great woman, who passed away yesterday, September 12th, at the age of 103. She leaves a huge heritage made of studies, achievements, students who are now teachers, love for learning, smiles, and gentle wisdom.

Hard to think she's not immortal, after all ...
